Our Story

Live Edge Massage Therapy & Wellness was established in 2022 by Cassandra Persoon. After having worked in the area for a year, Cassie wanted to start a unique clinic that promotes massage and wellness for all ages, as well as encourages clients to be an active participant in their own health. As a new establishment, Live Edge Massage Therapy & Wellness hopes to grow with the people of Oxford County, and become a part of what this area has to offer.

Cassie graduated with honours from Queens University in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education. While in her final year, she also began her studies in massage therapy. In 2018, she graduated and became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).  Cassie began her career at a clinic in her hometown, Beamsville, ON, and stayed there for 3 years before starting full time in Woodstock. She has experienced numerous roles within the recreation and health field, working with a variety of people, including youth, seniors, and athletes. She is excited to expand her career as a business owner, and likes to incorporate deeper pressure, stretching, trigger point therapy, and other techniques in treatment.  Cassie wants to encourage clients to live an active and balanced lifestyle as she does herself; she has a passion for fitness, enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, and also loves to make food while “loosely” following the recipe.
